AIFD is stand for Army Institute of Fashion Design (FD). This AIFD test was started offering FD course since 2002, where opportunity is given only to the army students who have a keen interest in the subject.

The institute offers admission to the course only after WAT (Written Admission Test), where keen area of Fashion designing, student’s interest and general knowledge about the subjects is tested.

The exam is usually conducted after the students are done with their 12th examination but application for the same would begin from February end.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be minimum 12th passed from any of the recognized institute of the India with minimum 35% marks.

But there are some unmentioned points

Applicant should belong from only Army Family i. e. one of the parent should belong from Army
Any army post will be accepted whether it be currently working or have retired.
