The Exam will be of 3½ hours Duration and will have one paper consisting of 200 objective type (multiple choice and reason- assertion type) questions from subjects of

Physics,
Chemistry,
Biology
General Knowledge


Subject - Number of Questions

Physics - 60 questions
Chemistry - 60 questions
Biology (Botany and Zoology) - 60 questions
General Knowledge - 20 questions

Question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi according to the choice marked during application.

Marking Scheme:

Each incorrect response will get a score of- 1/3 (minus-one-third).
Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.
No credit will be given for the questions not answered.
More than one response will be treated as a wrong answer and negatively marked.

Exam Dates and Schedule

The examination shall be held on Sunday, 29 MAY 2016.

The duration of the examination shall be 3 and 1⁄2 hours (three hours and thirty minutes).

The Online (CBT) Entrance Examination will be conducted in two shifts:

Morning Shift / First shift : 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Afternoon Shift / Second shift : 03:00 PM to 06:30 PM
