Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board Combined Agricultural Research Services and National Eligibility Test ASRB Combined ARS and NET Exam is conducted by Agriculture Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB) for Lecturers/Assistant professors posts by the State Agriculture Universities (SAUs)/ Agricultural Universities (AUs)

ASRB ARS & NET Exam Eligibility

Candidate must have a Master's degree or equivalent in the concerned subject

Age

For ARS - 21-32 Years

For NET - Minimum 21 Years

Nationality: A candidate must be either:

A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to Indian before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

ASRB ARS & NET Exam Pattern

Preliminary Exam

1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in Prelim ARS Examination.

This is a Qualifying exam and marks scored will not be counted for final selection.

Main Exam

Main Exam consists of three parts as given below:
