CPT is the first stage exam to become CA. This exam is conducted by the Council of the Institute Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Online CPT exam June 2014 will be held on 22nd June 2014.

SESSION – 1 ( Two Sections – Two hours – 100 marks )
Section A : Fundamentals of Accounting ( 60 marks )
Section B : Mercantile Laws ( 40 marks )

SESSION – II ( Two Sections – Two hours - 100 marks )
Section C : General Economics ( 50 marks )
Section D : Quantitative Aptitude ( 50 marks )
