Recruitment and Assessment Center (RAC), a DRDO organisation under the Ministry of Defense attempts nine noteworthy mission mode programs identified with enlistment, evaluation, preparing and research of DRDS researchers making it one of the biggest places for logical labor enrollment in India.

Enlistment of Scientists (Gazetted Group 'An') in DRDO

Post-graduate degree and (relevant for Scientist "C" and above) experience of no less than 3 years for Scientist 'C', 7 years for Scientist 'D', 10 years for Scientist 'E', 13 years for Scientist "F" and 15 years for Scientist "G" in down to earth and regulatory field and furthermore in the required field of medicinal alleviation, therapeutic research, restorative training or general wellbeing association.

Age Limit

For Scientist `B': not surpassing 28 years

For Scientist `C': not surpassing 35 years

For Scientist `D' and Scientist 'E': not surpassing 45 years

For Scientist "F" and 'G': not surpassing 50 years.

The upper age point of confinement is relaxable upto 5 years in the event of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe competitors and 3 years for Other Backward Communities (OBC)

Appraisal

Appraisal Boards for advancement of DRDS Scientists in the evaluations 'B'/'C'/'D'/"E" to next higher review are held amid mid April-mid June at areas of significant grouping of DRDO Labs/Estts. viz Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune.

System for Interview

After the Scientist goes into the Board Room, the Chairperson audits the Bio-information, and, then welcomes the Scientist to make a concise introduction (10-15 minutes) of the accomplishments and the tentative arrangements of activity. The Scientist is required to highlight just individual commitments and accomplishments. After the introduction every one of the individuals from the Board are asked for to associate with the Scientist turn-wise.
