APTET Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:

For 1st to 5th classes (Paper-I):

Should have passed senior secondary/12th or its equal with minimum 45% marks or pursuing final year of 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Should have passed in Intermediate /12th or equal with at least 50% marks or pursuing final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education
OR
Must have Passed 12th /Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks or pursuing final year of 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

For 6th to 8th classes (paper II):

Should have passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com or pursuing final year of 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Must have completed B.A. /B.Sc./B.Com pass with at least 45% marks or pursuing 1 – year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed) Course
OR
Should possessed B.A. / B.Sc./B.Com pass with atleast 50% marks or pursuing 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education) Course
OR
Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. E l. Ed.) course.
OR
Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing final year of 4-year B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed Course.
