Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur provides admission to the various courses through Vishwavidyalaya Entrance Test (VET). There are two modes of submission of application forms i.e. online and offline for Indian Nationals. It is conducted both in Hindi and English medium except for admission in courses belonging to science stream including undergraduate courses in Forestry & Pharmacy where the medium of instruction shall be English. B.Ed. • Syllabus for Entrance (B.Ed.): 100 multiple choice questions on the following areas— (a) Language and reasoning ability (Hindi—10, English—10, reasoning—10) which shall test the comprehension ability and general Language understanding in English and Hindi as well as Reasoning ability. (b) Awareness of Educational affairs (20 questions) to test general awareness on current scenario in School and higher education as well as general understanding of teaching learning process, and (c) Subject understanding up to Graduation Level with (i) 25 questions in Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Mathematics and (ii) 25 questions in Hindi/ English/ Sanskrit/ Philosophy/History/ Geography/ Economics/Political Science The duration of test will be 120 Min.(2Hrs). • Syllabus for Entrance B.Ed. Special Education (Hearing Impaired, Learning Disability): The question paper of 100 Marks will contain 100 Multiple choice questions from the following areas: A. 40 multiple choice question will be given from the following areas: (i) Teaching Aptitude (10 marks) (ii) Reasoning Ability (10 marks) (iii) Awareness on special Education in the present scenario (10 marks) (iv) Awareness of current Educational Scenario (10 marks) B. There will be 60 Multiple choice questions, requiring basis conceptual understanding upto graduation level, regarding the following areas: (1) Human Interaction and thinking (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Culture)- 15 Marks (2) Natural Phenomena (Physical Science, Life Science, Mathematics) – 15 Marks (3) Social Phenomena (History, Geography, Political science, Economics)- 15 Marks (4) General Knowledge and Current Affairs- 15 Marks. The duration of examination will be 120 Min.(2Hrs). • Syllabus for Entrance (M.Ed.): 100 multiple choice questions on the following areas — (a) Language ability (Hindi—15, English—15,) which shall test the comprehension ability and general Language understanding in English and Hindi and (b) 70 questions requiring basic conceptual understanding at B. Ed. level. The duration of test will be 120 Min.(2Hrs). |
