ING Vysya Bank was a privately owned Indian multinational bank based in Bangalore , it was founded in the year 2002 .

ING Vysya bank was the seventh largest private sector bank in India in the year 2013 as per an survey report .

On 20 November 2014 ING Vysya Bank decided to merge with Kotak Mahindra Bank.

On 1 April 2015, the Reserve Bank of India approved the merger.
