Re: IIT Bombay Eduroam
Yes IIT Bombay has enabled "eduroam" wireless network in there, Visitors to IIT Bombay from Europe, Australia, and some countries in Asia will be able to connect to IITB WiFi network with their respective university's login credentials. IITB Faculty need not create special LDAP IDs for them. Here is a quick setup guide (very similar to IITB-Wireless connection): Field Values Network Name -- SSID eduroam Security Type WPA2 Enterprise Username ldapusername[at]iitb.ac.in Password ldappassword EAP method PEAP Phase 2 authentication MSCHAPV2 IIT Bombay Connecting to eduroam -- Android devices Connecting Android devices to eduroam 1. Switch your wifi on and select eduroam network. 2. Please keep EAP method as "PEAP" and Phase 2 authentication as "MSCHAPV2" in the pop up dialog 3. Enter your username (name[at]iitb.ac.in) and password (These options may be there in the same dialog or may be present in the next dialog) 4. You should now be able to connect to the eduroam service.
