Eligibility
The general and OBC candidates must born on or after 1st October 1991 and the SC/ST/PwD candidates must born on or after 1st October 1986.

The candidates must be passed or appearing the 12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board with PCM group with minimum 50%.

Participating States
As per the last year details the states as Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland & Odisha had participated in JEE Exam.

The students seeking the admission in these states are advised to fill the JEE Main 2017 application form through online. These states were earlier admitting on the basis of state level entrance test.

Paper 1:
JEE Main question paper of paper 1 comprises questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and all questions will have equal weightage. Check exam pattern below-

Candidates had to mark only one response for each question out of four responses given.

One-fourth marks will be deducted for indicating incorrect response of each question.

Paper 2 will consist of following three parts-
Part I - Mathematics
Part II - Aptitude Test
Part III - Drawing Test
The exam will be of 3 hours duration.
