The JAM Examination is conducted online and in English only. There are seven papers (objective questions) on the following subjects:

Biological Sciences (BL)
Biotechnology (BT)
Chemistry (CY)
Geology (GG)
Mathematics (MA)
Mathematical Statistics (MS)
Physics (PH)


Each paper is divided into three sections, consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions, 10 multiple-select questions and 20 numerical-answer questions. The duration of the exam is 3 hours
