In compatibility of the proposals of Knowledge Commission, Krishna University was built up, vide Andhra Pradesh Act.No.4 of 1991, G.O' Ms. No.89 Higher Education (U.E.II) dated 25/06/2008 and G.O Ms. No.109, Higher Education (U.E.II) division dated 14/07/2008 at Machilipatnam, as the town is the head-quarters of Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. Krishna University has received the image carved here, which symbolizes the college in soul and sanctimonium. The specialized training and the spread of most recent advances in logical information are symbolized by the external serrated wheel. This splendid symbol highlights the equivalent accentuation laid by Krishna University on Humanities, Life sciences, Science and Technology. The Krishna University likewise taking after the Semester framework from this scholastic year onwards. There might be two semesters for every year. Every semester contains 7 subject.
