MAEER’s Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training more popularly known as MANET was founded in 2001 in the MIT, Kothrud Campus to train Cadets to join the Merchant Navy.

Eligibility

Academic Qualifications: The candidate must have successfully completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with :
at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.

Age: Candidates of less than 25 years of age


Entrance Test : the Admission will be based on the MNET Entracne Test

Medical Test : To be declared fit for selection, a candidate must be in good mental and physical health and free from any deficiency likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties. These medical requirements are laid down by D.G. Shipping and are subjected to change.
