The Open University (OU) is public distance learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education. The OU was established in 1969 MBA (Technology Management) Code F03 Level Postgraduate Made up of 180 credits The minimum time to complete is two years, the maximum time to complete is seven years. You can complete within two years if you choose to study BXFT716 instead of B716. MBA (Technology Management) course are required to have a minimum of three years’ experience in a managerial, professional or technical role. The MBA (Technology Management) is in two stages: Stage 1 Stage 1 consists of the MBA stage 1: management: perspectives and practice (B716). This 60-credit module takes 12 months to complete. It is an integrated module covering all the core disciplines which make up the MBA curriculum. You must pass Stage 1 before proceeding onto Stage 2. Stage 2 If you wish to develop a specialism in technology and business strategy you are recommended to have studied the discontinued optional module B820 before the compulsory module Technology strategy (T846) as this would provide the underpinning for the more specialised approach to strategy employed in T846. the compulsory module Making a difference (B830) should be taken in your final year of study, either alone or alongside one or two other modules. You must complete your MBA (Technology Management) by 31 December 2016, passing a minimum of one module every two years. If you fail or withdraw from a module, you are allowed to retake it once.
