An associate's or a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing college is typically required for this position. For the Becoming a MDS Coordinator yo may have Ful fill the Following Criteria : Key Skills : Compassion, emotional stability, patience, and speaking skills Educational Requirements : Typically a bachelor's or associate's if you're a registered nurse and/or an approved educational program if you're a licensed practical nurse Posts : Director of nurses, medical biller, certified nurse assistant Work Environment Typically full-time (sometimes in shifts of 8+ hours) during the day, evening, and over-night Salary : According to September 2015 data from Payscale.com, MDS coordinators earned hourly wages of $20.32 - $35.56.
