PEC University of Technology (some time ago Punjab Engineering College (PEC) having its underlying foundations in Lahore as Mugalpura Engineering College since 1921, moved to its present grounds in 1953 as PEC partnered to Panjab University. The establishment got to be Deemed University in 2003 through a MHRD warning and rechristened as PEC University of Technology in 2009. It is a Grant-in-Aid establishment under organization of Union Territory of Chandigarh, Government of India.

The foundation offers 8 Undergraduate B. E. Projects and 14 Post graduate M. E. Programs in different controls of building and innovation.
