Eligibility Criteria:-

Candidates who have secured atleast 55% of aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/Cat-1/Physicaly Challenged candidates) or equivalent grade under grading system, in their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from the recognised Universities/Institutions.

There is no upper age limit for applying for the Ph.D entrance test.

Exemptions:-

The Following candidates are exempted from the entrance exam and they can apply for Provisional Registration by consulting a guide in the subject of their interest after verifing their eligibility.

(a) Candidates who have qualified for UGC/CSIR (JRF) Fellowships
OR
qualified for Lecturership through UGC/CS IR NET Examination/ K-SET/ GATE
OR
Government/Aided College Teachers under FIP.
(b) Candidates who have completed M.Phil course, provided their M.Phil course was through an Entrance Examination.
(c) Foreign Nationals with Indian/Foreign Degrees.


Selection Process:
Selection is done on the basis of Entrance Exam


Exam Pattern:-

1. One question paper per subject with one hundred questions (100) with four choices out of which one is the correct answer.

2. Maximum marks shall be 100 (one hundred) and the time available for answering questions shall be 2 (two) hours only.


Application fee per paper:-
a)General merit candidates: Rs.2000/-
b)SC/ST/Cat-1 cadidates: Rs.750/-
