Physical qualification for IAF
What are the Physical qualifications needed for giving the exam of the post vacant at the Indian Air Force? also give me the details that if some one have any marks on his body then is the authority of the Indian Air Force reject him or not? Give me the whole details as soon as possible?

I want to join Air Force and for this decided to apply for the IAF Exam want details related to this exam. Will you provide me details about the Physical Qualification and other criteria to apply for IAF Exam also provide me basic requirements for all candidates to apply for exam?

To join IAF, candidates, irrespective of the entry mode and educational qualifications, must satisfy a basic set of Physical standards. The list is quite long. But the main things that are checked are- Weight and Height ratio Good Physical and Mental health Good hearing Well developed chests (expansion should be at least 5cm after full inspiration) Healthy Bones and Joints Basic requirements for all candidates Height To join the Air Force as an airman, you should be at least 152.5 cm. tall. There are however, some trades that have different requirements. Mechanical Transport Driver and Certain Technical Trades Minimum height - 165 cm. Minimum leg length - 99 cm. IAF Police Minimum height - 175 cm. Ground Training Instructor and Musician Minimum height - 167 cm Clear Medical Record You should have a clear medical record, with history clear of any of the following: Mental Sickness/Fits Diseases/Skin Ailments Surgical Deformity Chest Minimum Expanded Chest (75cm) Minimum Range Of Expansion (5cm) |
