Re: Power Of Attorney Bank Of America

Hey the power of attorney is that in which you are giving that person—legally defined as your agent—the legal right to act on your behalf in situations that would require your signature.

There are 3 types of power of attorney:

General power of attorney,

Limited power of attorney

Durable health care power of attorney.

Yes you can designate power of attorney to your spouse or other trusted family member or friend.

It can help make it much easier to deal with unanticipated financial issues if they arise.

Features of powers of attorney

At Bank of America, powers of attorney can only be used for single, joint, and sole proprietor accounts.

Any other kind of business accounts were specifically disallowed.

The bank will not accept powers of attorney that name more than one concurrent attorney-in-fact.
