I am a Army Officer and I want to become IPS officer and for that I want to get the details of process for an Army Officer to become an IPS officer so can you provide me that? As you want to get the details of process for an Army Officer to become an IPS officer so here is the information of the same for you: Being a defense person you will get 5 yrs relaxation in age criteria. Process: Firstly you need to fill the application form Then you will have given the preliminary exam in the month of May or June Paper syllabus: Paper 1 Current events of national and international importance History of India and Indian national movement Indian and World Geography- physical, social, economic geography of India and the world Indian Polity and governance – constitution, political system, panchayati raj, public policy, Rights issues, etc. Economic and social development – sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives etc. General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and climate change-that do not require subject specialization General science.
