Is the Punjab Technical University approved by DEC? The Punjab Technical University is recognized under section 2(f) of UGC. All regular colleges of PTU are approved by AICTE. The PTU is a member of AIU (Association of Indian Universities). The PTU Jalandhar has been approval by 'UGC-AICTE-DEC joint Committee' for all programs being offered through Distance Education Mode from 2010.
