The United Bank of India was launched their co-branded share trading product, specially customised for the UBI-accountholders.

The product is named Trio and launched under the brand U-Connect. This is having the focus would remain on providing online trading services to the customers; offline mode will also be available to the customers of UBI.

The launch of UCONNECT is an integrated online platform for buying and selling shares in the presence of Shri Sunil Mitra, ex-Revenue Secretary of Govt. of India and Shri Bhaskar Sen, Chairman & Managing Director of UBI.

United Bank of India facilitates share trading for its customers through two products under the umbrella “U-Connect” - one in association with Kotak Securities Limited (KSL) by the brand name ‘Trio’ and other with The Calcutta Stock Exchange Ltd. (CSE).

Under the partnership arrangement with Kotak Securities, willing customers of UBI will be offered a 3-in-1 Accounts - savings & demat account with UBI and trading account by Kotak Securities
