Admission criteria/ procedure
Candidates will be selected through UPESEAT 2017 followed by Centralized Counseling.

Or
Centralized Counseling through Merit rank for Non Exam Category

Candidates, who are born on or after October 1, 1995 will be eligible to apply for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at the university.

Applicants are required to mention their Date of Birth (DOB) as per the records in the Secondary Education Board.

15 per cent of the seats in all programmes will be reserved for bonafide residents of Uttarakhand. However, candidates are subject to produce their “Sthai Niwas Praman Patras” (Permanent Residence Certificates) issued by the competent authority of Uttarakhand State.

Seat allotment will be done based on the merit positions secured in this category, provided the candidate has declared his intent to opt under this category at the time of applying for admission

Eligibility
1. UPESEAT
Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th& 12th)

They are also required to secure minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th).

Non Examination Pathway

2. Board Merit
Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 80% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).

They are also required to secure minimum 80% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th class).

3. JEE Main Merit
Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

They are also required to secure minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th class).

JEE Main cutoff ranks are announced after the declaration of JEE Main 2017 Result.
