The Illinois State Achievement Test (ISAT) measures individual student achievement relative to the Illinois Learning Standards. About ISAT Exam ISAT is a 3-hour computer-based multiple-choice test designed to assess a candidate's intellectual skills and abilities. The test is independently developed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). ACER has an excellent international reputation and track record in the development, management and research of selection tests for undergraduate medical and health related programs. ISAT is administered as a computer-based test through Prometric Inc. centres around the world. Grade levels and subjects tested by ISAT Grades 3-8—Reading & Math Grades 4 & 7—Science Assessment Information Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) Grades: 3-8 Subjects: Reading, Mathematics, Science, Writing Measures individual student achievement relative to the Illinois Learning Standards The results give parents, teachers, and schools one measure of student learning and school performance. |
