Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed Master’s Degree or its equivalent recognized by the University in a subject relevant to his/her proposed field of research with not less than 55% marks in the aggregate or its equivalent CPI/CGPA/NAG, and had also obtained the Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent recognized by the University with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate or its equivalent CPI/CGPA/NAG, subject to any further requirements for eligibility that may be laid down by the University from time to time
If candidate is working in an externally funded research project in the University, who is otherwise eligible, may be permitted to apply for admission to M.Phil / Ph.D. program while continuing to work in the project subject to certification by the Principal Investigator of the project

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM:
1. Fill up the ONLINE Application Form
2. Take the Printout of the PDF Generated Application Form on A-4 Size paper of 80 GSM.
3. Put your thumb impression, signature and paste your recent photographs at the designated place on the Application Form.
4. Attach the appropriate Demand Draft/ Copy of Challan Form along with other document(s) with the Application
Form and do not fold or mutilate it in any way.
5. Put the Application Form inside the A-4 Size Envelope and paste the Postal Slip on the Top after filling it properly.
6. Despatch it through Post / by hand so as to reach to the Office of the Deputy Controller (Admissions), Admission Section, AMU, Aligarh
