AFCAT Exam Rules

I am appearing in AFCAT Exam after 2 days. I want to know about all Rules and Regulations. Can I change my exam center before 2 days? Provide me contact details of Exam Controller where I contact and know the process to change exam center of AFCAT Exam. Is there any sample question paper available for AFCAT Exam?

Can you tell me about the eligibility rules for applying for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) in Indian Air Force for Flying Branch?

Indian Air Force came into existence in 2011. It conducts Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for candidates to recruit them to Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Officer Branches.

Graduates in all streams including B.E, B. Tech, B. Sc, M.Com, CA, ICWA are eligible to apply for AFCAT 2017.

AFCAT Courses Commencing in January 2018 -

Flying Branch (203/18F/SSC/M &W):-

Graduates (Minimum 3 year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained minimum 60% marks or equivalent and have passed Maths & Physics at 10+2 level or BE / B Tech degree (4 year course) or cleared section A & B exam of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.

Age –
20 to 24 years as on 01 Jan 2018 i.e. born between 02 Jan 1994 to 01 Jan 1998 (Both Dates inclusive).
Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. Born between 02 Jan 1992 to 01 Jan 1998 (Both dates inclusive).

Height –
Minimum 162.5 cms,
Leg Length: Min - 99 cms, Max - 120 cms.
Thigh Length: Max - 64 cms,
Sitting Height: Min - 81.5 cms Max - 96 cms

Weight –
Proportionate to the height and age.
