It is the national level entrance test which is organized every year as per the directions of MHRD.

CMAT 2017 Important Dates

CMAT 2017 Registration Start November 2016, first week
Registration end date December 2016, second week
Availability of CMAT Admit card 2017 January 2017, first week
AICTE CMAT 2017 exam date January 2017, third week
Result declaration January 2017, last week
Print out of score cards January 2017, last week

Examination Rules

The Time Duration will be 3 hours.

CMAT is completely a multiple choice test, divided into different 4 sections

The test will comprise of 100 questions. For more information,

You will Not be given any Breaks During the Test.

At the Test Centre, Each Candidate will be Seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he or she will be provided with a scratch paper for calculations.

Rough work cannot be done on any other paper or sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the testing room.

Your Name Needs to be Exactly Identical to the Name on your Xth Mark sheet or equivalent.

You are Not Allowed to Bring any Personal Items to the Test Centre, Including But Not Limited to WristWatch, Cellphones, Calculators,


Exam Pattern :

Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours) will be given to solve the exam.

Sections: The Exam paper is divided into four sections.

No. of Questions: There are 100 total questions in the exam.

Type: The exam is objective type with multiple options and only one possible answer.

CMAT 2017 is an online based exam.

Marking Scheme:

For each correct answer, FOUR (4) marks will be awarded.
For each wrong response, ONE (1) mark will be subtracted.
The exam will be of total 400 marks.
