All India Council of Technical Education is the Authority which Authorizes all the Technical Institutes and Colleges to offer Technical Courses in India.

All the Colleges and Institutes which wants to offer technical education such as B. tech/M. tech and Management Courses Such as MBA/PGDM need to get approved by AICTE.


AICTE is Conducting AICTE MAT/CMAT/CAT examination every year for the candidates who wants to get admission in MBA and PGDM Courses of Top Institution and Colleges of India.

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates from any Discipline (General category) having obtained a minimum 50% in their 3 year graduation course or equivalent qualification recognized by the MHRD can apply.

Application Form Fee :

The candidate will have to pay Rs. 1400 (General category) & Rs. 700 (SC, ST and PD category) towards the CMAT examination fees.

CMAT Exam Pattern :

The Questions in CMAT are divided in 4 sections with multiple choice questions.

The questionnaire is divided into the following questions and each section carries 25 questions having a maximum of 100 marks.
Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
Logical reasoning
Language comprehension
General awareness

You will score 4 Marks for Each Right Answer and lose 1 mark for each wrong answer.
