Aligarh Muslim University AMU MBBS BDS Admission will be done on basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2017.

In AMU, there are 145 MBBS and 35 BDS seats.

Only those candidates will be allotted seats in Aligarh Muslim University who will qualify the NEET.

Merit list of AMU MBBS will be prepared based on the details of the registered candidates and admission will be offered as per the order of the rank secured.

Reservation of Seats:

Aligarh Muslim University is a whole university which has its own Reservation criteria and also follows Standard Criteria for reservation as directed by Medical Council of India.

AMU offers 50% horizontal reservation for Muslim candidates

Also 20% horizontal reservation lies for Internal Students ( Students from Aligarh Muslim University ).

And rest is the standard reservation policy directed by Government of India.

AMU MBBS Eligibility Criteria -

Candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually in Class XII. Further, candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in all subjects

Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in Class XII, while, it is 45% marks for OBC category candidates

Candidate must have completed 17 years of age as or on December 31, 2017
