Muslim Reservation in AMU MBBS
What percentage of quota is reserved for Muslim community in Aligarh Muslim University for MBBS course? Please tell me about it because I am preparing for AMU MBBS BDS Medical Entrance Exam 2015? Please tell me about it? The Aligarh Muslim University is provides 50% of its seats reserved for Muslims in select Courses. This reformation in the Admission Reservation policy came after the Central Government approved 50% reservation for Muslims in selected 32 courses of study in the University, most of which are professional courses including MBBS and few others. There are a total of 145+5 (NRI) Seats for MBBS and 35+5 (NRI) Seats for BDS in AMU. Educational Qualifications: The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class 12/SSC) with at least 50% marks in the Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English. Age: The age of the candidate should be 17 or above Exam Pattern: There will be total of 200 questions of 200 marks. The total number of questions will be 50 for each subjects ie Physics and Chemistry. The Biology section will have 100 questions. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 1/4 marks would be deducted for each incorrect answer.
