Armament Research & Development Establishment (ARDE) is a laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) located in Pune

It is the main DRDO lab involved in the development of Conventional Armaments.

Basic & Applied Research, Modeling, Simulation and Software development in the field of CA
Pilot Plant production of Critical stores/Materials
ToT to production/QA agencies and productionisation
Assistance to Industry in production of Armt stores
Life extension and PIPs for in-Service equipment
Weapon Systems of Foreign Origin T&E and advice to Services regarding induction and indigenisation.
Design & Development of Conventional Armaments (CA) for the Services and Para-Military Forces
