Civil Services Exam Course
Kindly tell me about the Civil Services Exam… IAS Examination, additionally called Indian Administrative Services Examination is one of the common administrations among others and is viewed as hardest and prestigious examinations directed in India. The IAS Syllabus and different administrations like Income Tax and the IPS is the same, as it is considered as single exam and directed by UPSC, which additionally sets the syllabus. UPSC Civil Services Exam is directed in three stages: Stage 1: Preliminary Examination or CSAT (Objective Section) Stage 2: Main Examination (Subjective Section) Stage 3: Interview (Vocal Section) The UPSC has revised the paper pattern of Civil Services Main examination. There are 7 + 2 = 9 papers to be answered in the Main examination. All of them are descriptive type. There are two qualifying papers: 1) Any modern Indian language 2) English Both are of 300 marks each. Their marks will not be counted in the Main examination. Paper1: Any Indian Language (300 Marks) The candidate has to opt for any modern Indian language Note: Qualifying paper, Marks do not count in merit Paper2: English: 300 Marks Note: The paper is Qualifying in nature Paper 3: Essay: 250 Marks Essay can be written in any medium or language as per the candidate's preference Paper 4: (General Studies Paper I) (Indian Heritage and Culture, History and Geography of the World and Society) Paper 5 (General Studies Paper II): (Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice and International relations) Indian ConstitutionÂ* historical underpinnings, evolution, features, amendments, significant provisions and basic structure. Functions and responsibilities of the Union and the States, issues and challenges pertaining to the federal structure, devolution of powers and finances up to local levels and challenges therein. Separation of powers between various organs dispute redressal mechanisms and institutions. Comparison of the Indian constitutional scheme with that of other countries. Paper ¬ 6 (General Studies Paper III) (Technology, Economic Development, Bio diversity, Environment, Security and Disaster Management) Indian Economy and issues relating to planning, mobilization of resources, growth, development and employment Inclusive growth and issues arising from it Paper 7 (General Studies Paper IV) (Ethics, Integrity, and Aptitude) This paper will include questions to test the candidates' attitude and approach to issues relating to integrity, probity in public life and his problem solving approach to various issues and conflicts faced by him in dealing with society. Questions may utilise the case study approach to determine these aspects. The following broad areas will be covered. Paper 8: Optional Subject (Paper 1): Marks 250 Paper 9: Optional Subject (Paper 2): Marks 250 An aspirant is allowed to take up literature as an optional subject without the condition of being graduated in the chosen language's literature.
