Can you please provide me the details of the IIM-A program for the working professionals as I am looking to take the admissions to the institute?

IIM-A is the Indian Institute Of Management Ahmedabad that is the premier institute of the management in the country.

Here are the details of the program for the working professionals at the IIM-A –

The Institute’s Executive Education Programs(EEP’s) offered as open enrolment programmes are designed so as to address specialized needs in areas such as business policy, communication, finance and accounting, marketing, organizational behaviour, personnel and industrial relations, production and quantitative methods, computers and information systems, agriculture, public systems, health, and education.

These EEPs enable participants to gain insights into managerial concepts and techniques at the institute that are needed for formulating and implementing strategies and enhance students overall perspective for effective managerial decision-making.

The institute offers the program of the One Year Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX).

PGPX is a full time residential programme for executives with substantial work experience leading to a One Year Post-Graduate Diploma in Management for Executives at the institute.

To apply for the PGPX please do the following:

A) Online registration at the institute.

B) Submit your completely filled-in online applications by 6:00 pm (IST) of August 11, 2014 to get the admission.

C) At the time of submission of application, you will be prompted to pay the PGPX Application Fee.
Rs. 3500/- (Indian Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred only) for those who apply on or before 06:00 pm 28th July 2014.
Rs. 5000/- (Indian Rupees Five Thousand only) for those apply between 06:00 pm 28th July 2014 and 06:00 pm 11th August 2014.

Eligibility Criteria

Following are the basic criteria for the PGPX admission to the IIM-A:

A) Aspirant must have the Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline. (Minimum 15 years of study as per the education system in India i.e. KG to 12 +2 + 3 or 4 as the case may be.)

B) Aspirant must have the Minimum Age of 27 years as on 31st March of the year in which the PGPX programme commences. There is no upper age limit to get the admission to the institute .

C) GMAT score obtained in the last four years of start of programme. For PGPX 2015-16, the GMAT scores obtained between April 1, 2011 and August 10, 2014 will be valid.)

Currently PGPX fee is Rs. 21.5 lakh. For PGPX 2015 batch, the revised fee will be announced before admission offers are made at the IIM-A. The fee is expected to rise but will not be more than Rs. 25 lakh.
