IIM Working Professional Courses
I am working professional and can’t join the regular course for that I have decided to join the Short Term Courses from IIM’S. Can you provide me the lists of IIM Bangalore Short Term courses also provide me the information broacher of IIM Bangalore?

The Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) offered by IIM (Indian Institute of Management) Bangalore has four terms of three months each in an academic year. The PGPEM specific courses are scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays. In 2nd year, students with flexible work schedules may also choose to enrol in elective courses offered across other Post Graduate Programmes in the institute between Mondays to Saturday. Each student is expected to complete the required 750 contact hours of the programme, within a maximum of five academic years. Eligibility One must have Bachelor's degree (minimum 50%) in any discipline as per the 10+2+3 norms. One must have minimum 4 years work experience in any industry after the Bachelor degree. Selection Process Submission of application with one of the following tests: CAT / GRE / GMAT/ IIMB Test, which is followed by personal interview and written ability test for shortlisted candidates. Short listing for interview based on performance in CAT / GMAT / GRE / IIMB Test, prior academic performance, and duration of work experience Final selection is based on prior academic performance, duration of work experience, quality of work experience, and performance in the interview and the Writing Ability Test Programme Fee The tuition fee (PGPEM 2019) for 2 years was Rs. 18,50,000/ Reservations The Institute will follow reservation for EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PWD in accordance with the law Structure and Curriculum Courses and Credits Each course is typically of three credits. A three-credit course involves about 100 hours of work – 30% in the classroom and the rest for preparation and assignments. Core courses are offered during the first year. Elective courses are offered during the second year. The course tutoring includes classroom lectures, collaborative discussions, online (broadcast) sessions, case analyses, individual and group projects, role plays, live projects and business games. Live Projects The 3-credit project course is an essential part of the programme that offers opportunity to specialize in an area where a formal elective may not be offered. Action Learning Project (ALP) Action Learning Project encourages taking up a turnkey project from within the company, analysing it and making recommendations. |
