CTET Is Not Mandatory
I am interested in the field of teaching and planning to give the CTET Exam searching for the exam details. Can you tell is CTET Exam is mandatory for candidates for doing job as a teacher in different schools provide details also tell what the pattern and important dates for this exam? The Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009, as on date, states that CTET will be used for recruitment of new teachers. The act states that while recruiting new teachers, all CBSE schools are required to check, if the new recruits are CTET qualified. CTET is mandatory. 98% of the schools consider CTET while recruiting new teachers. The schools said they have clear instructions from CBSE, and go for only CTET qualified applicants, for interviews.
