Is it mandatory to do BSc for B.Tech?

Is it mandatory to do BSc for B.Tech??? What are the basic requirements to apply for this course??

No, it’s not mandatory to do BSc for B.Tech, 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematic subjects are enough to apply for this course. For admission in the B. tech course you need to appear in the JEE examination.

After completing B. sc, you can get admission in the second year of B. tech course; it is called lateral entry admissions. Following colleges offer this types of the admissions:

Punjab University, Chandigarh.

Punjabi University, Patiala.

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala.

Guru Gobind Singh IP University, Delhi.

Sant Longoval Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sangrur.
