Eligibility Criteria of Maharashtra B Ed CET 2016

• One must be a citizen of India

• One must complete the 3 year graduation in B.A. Humanities or B. Sc or B.SC Social Sciences from any recognized university

• The general candidates and the OBC candidates need to score a minimum of 50% marks

• One belonging to the reserved category will get a relaxation of 5%, so they need to score 45% marks in the qualifying exam

• One who is not from Maharashtra is also allowed to sit for the exam if secured a minimum of 50% marks in total

• One who has appeared in the final year exam can also apply for the B.ED CET.

One appearing for the entrance exam must be a minimum of 21 years of age.


Maharashtra B Ed CET Paper Pattern:-

It is conducted only in the Online Mode in Multiple Sessions.

It comprises multiple choice objective type questions in the areas of i) Mental Ability (40), ii) General Knowledge (30) iii) Teacher Aptitude (30).

There would be 100 questions to be answered in a total time of One and half hour (i.e. 90 Minutes). Medium of Question Papers will be English and Marathi.
