Here I am giving you information about important dates to apply for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for admission in master of dental surgery course offered by colleges in Maharashtra below : Important tentative dates : Issue of forms: November 2014 Last date for forms submission: December 2014 Eligibility Criteria: You have to passed a BDS degree from a Dental College recognized by the Government of India And you must have a provisional or permanent registration from any of the State Dental Councils after passing the final BDS examination You must complete one year (12 months) Compulsory Rotating Internship in an approved/recognized Dental College.. syllabus : SYLLABUS FOR POSTGRADUATE APPLIED BASIC SCIENCES: Applied Basic Sciences optional subjects: (i) Applied Anatomy (ii) Applied Physiology (iii) Applied Pathology Subjects related to different specialities: 1. Bio-statistics 2. Nutrition and Dietetics 3. Teaching and Testing Methodology 4. Research Methodology 5. Psychology and Practice Management 6. Comparative Anatomy 7. Genetics Growth and Development 8. Applied Chemistry including Metallurgy, Dental Materials. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE: The topics to be considered are: Basic Sciences, Prosthodontics including Crown and Bridge Implantology and Material Science.
