Department of Science and Technology (DST) was built up in May 1971, with the target of advancing new territories of Science and Technology and to assume the part of a nodal division for sorting out, planning and advancing S&T exercises in the nation.

Mission and Objectives

The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India was set up on the third of May 1971 after the accomplishment of Green revolution,that connoted imaginative sending of logical procedures. .
