It specifically deals with the designing of cars, operations in production of cars, designing of engines and fuel management. However, generally both the branches are used interchangeably to denote a branch dealing with motor vehicles. Common areas of specialization includes – Automobile Engineering-- Exhaust Systems Engines Structural Designs Automotive Engineering--- Construction and lightweight construction Automotive production Vehicle drives and acoustics Vehicle control systems Career Prospects Automobile Engineering-- Product Engineering or Design Engineering Manufacturing Engineers Design and layout of the equipments Development Engineers Automotive Engineering--- Automobile Engineering Technicians NVH ( Noise, Vibration and Harshness) Engineers Performance Engineer Vehicle Dynamics Controller Operations Research Designing Safety Engineering Emissions Research Last edited by Neelurk; May 2nd, 2020 at 04:39 PM. |
