Difference between Naval Academy & NDA
What is the difference between Naval Academy & National Defence Academy (NDA)???? NDA is the first training center for all those who qualify NDA exam and its SSB interview. Naval Academy is concerned with training for Indian Navy. If you go through NDA exam and you want to join Indian Navy you will have to first complete 3 year training in NDA and then further training in Naval Academy. You will join naval academy after your graduation if apply for navy. Naval academy is training institute of aspiring navy officer Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is all set to conduct the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA An NDA & NA aspirant should have to undergo the following three stages before getting admission at the National Defence Academy. Stage I: Written Examination Stage II: Intelligence and personality test Stage III: Medical Examination by the Service Medical Board (SSB) Eligibility Criteria Age Limits Age must be in between 16.5 – 19 Years Educational Qualification Army wing of NDA: Must have passed 12th (10+2 pattern) or equivalent from a State Education Board / University. Air Force and Naval wing of NDA and (10+2) Cadet Entry Scheme at Naval Academy: Must have passed12th (10+2 pattern) or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from a State Education Board / University.
