M. Sc. in Information Systems

M. Sc. in Information Systems is a five-semester Work Integrated Learning Programme which leads to a master's degree in Information Systems.

Programme offers a set of foundational course, core courses and elective courses.

Programme ends with a project that gives opportunity to students to apply concepts and techniques learnt, in a project.

The methodology is a combination of class room learning and experiential learning.

Eligibility-

B.Sc. degree or its equivalent, with adequate preparation in Mathematics, and minimum one year relevant work experience

Employer consent, with suitable mentor availability, is also required

Curriculum-

Foundation courses provide basic foundation in mathematics & programming

Core courses provide basic knowledge in software development & computer science

Electives provide specialized techniques in different technologies
Students need to take 5 foundation courses (mandatory), 9 core courses (mandatory) and 4 elective courses depending on desired specialization
