National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) is a centre of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria for admission under NCBS:

For PhD Programme :

Masters in Basic Science or Bachelors in Applied Science.
Includes M.Sc. (Ag), B.Tech, B.E., B.V.Sc. B.Pharma (4 yrs course), MBBS., BDS. M. Pharma.

For Integrated Ph.D/M.Sc. by Research Programme :

Bachelors in any Basic Science.

For M.Sc. Wildlife Biology & Conservation:

Indian nationals who have a Bachelors degree in any discipline .
Secure with a minimum of 50% in core subjects.

Secure less than 35 years of age .

Selection process for admission:
Entrance test
Interview

Demand Draft details (DD number, bank, etc.) or Credit / Debit Card details for online payment of application fee.
