Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical KEAM exam is a state level entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination CEE Kerala for admission to various UG courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BSMS, B.Sc (Forestry), B.Sc (honors) agriculture, B.VSc (animal Husbandry), B.FSc and B.Tech (in all regular branches including agriculture, food engineering and dairy science and technology) KEAM eligibility Criteria- 12th from the recognized board with minimum 50% marks in core as math (for engineering and architecture) or biology/ biotechnology (for medical and allied courses) and 50% in aggregate of physics, chemistry and core subject put together. For medical courses biotechnology will not be considered as a subject except MBBS/BDS course Computer science or biotechnology can be considered in place of chemistry in case of engineering admission. For architecture, candidates must have secured 50% in 12th with math as a subject. The candidates must have secured 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/SEBC and 45% for locomotion disable candidate) in KEAM 2016 paper 1&2 taken together for MBBS/BDS course. Age- The candidates should have completed the age of 17 years There is no upper age limit for KEAM examination. Important dates- Opening date of the sale of prospectus – 3rd January 2016 Opening date of Online Applications – 3rd January 2016 Close date of submission the Online Applications – 29th January 2016 Last date of printout the Applications – 29th January 2016 Downloading KEAM 2016 admit card – 28th March 2016 KEAM 2016 Exam Date – 25th to 28th April 2016 Answer Key release – 29th April 2016 Date of KEAM 2016 Result – third week of May 2016 Rank List & Counselling – third week of June 2016 |
