Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Exam better known by the acronym KEAM is a common entrance examination for admission to first year bachelor degree courses in various professional colleges in the state of Kerala. The Eligibility Criteria of the courses are given below : Eligibility : Age : The candidate should have completed 17 years of age For admission to MBBS, BDS, BSMS: one may be Clear the Higher Secondary Exam With the Subjects Physics and Chemistry and Biology with 50 percent marks For admission to BAMS/BHMS: one may be Clear the Higher Secondary Exam With the Subjects Physics and Chemistry and Biology with 50 percent marks Please note that Biotechnology in the absence of Biology will not be considered as a subject for academic eligibility. For admission to B.Sc (honors) Agriculture BSc (Forestry): one may be Clear the Higher Secondary Exam With the Subjects Physics and Chemistry and Biology with 50 percent marks Please note that Biotechnology in the absence of Biology will not be considered as a subject for academic eligibility. For admission to BVSc AH: Higher Secondary Exam (HSC) of Board of Higher Secondary Education Kerala with a total aggregate of not less than 50 percent marks in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together. For admission to engineering courses: Higher Secondary Exam (HSC) of Board of Higher Secondary Education Kerala with an a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks in Maths separately and total of 50 percent marks in subjects of Maths, Physics and Chemistry put together. Candidates with minimum aggregate of 45 percent marks in Maths and 60 percent in Physics are also eligible to apply. Examination pattern : paper 1- Physics and Chemistry Paper 2- Biology/ Mathematics Number of question in Each paper : 120 questions Marking Scheme : For each correct response- 4 marks will be given For each incorrect response- 1 mark will be deducted Application Fees : General: Rs. 1,000 SC: Rs.500 |
