The JEE Advanced Examination is conducted for admission in B.Tech / B.E Courses offering by IITs. Candidates fulfil following eligibility criteria for apply for JEE Advanced Examination: Candidates should be among the top 2,20,000 (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) Exam. Category Number of "Top" Candidates Total OPEN 1,07,767 1,11,100 OPEN-PwD 3,333 OBC-NCL 57,618 59,400 OBC-NCL-PwD 1,782 SC 32,010 33,000 SC-PwD 990 ST 16,005 16,500 ST-PwD 495 Age Limit: Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1992. Total Number of Attempts: Maximum of two times in consecutive years Candidate should NOT accept the IIT seat by reporting at a reporting centre in the past.
