A. UES stands for university entry scheme. In this scheme both women and men can apply for Indian air force.
Indian Air Force every year invites applications from Male & Female Indian citizen for grant of commission in Flying (Pilot), Technical and Ground Duty Branches for the following courses .

As a graduate, you can apply for the following suitable branch.

(i) Flying Branch:
(ii) Technical Branch:
(iii) Ground Duty Branches:

Eligibility:
Graduates & Post Graduates with minimum 60% and 50% of marks respectively from different streams are invited for the application
There should not be any backlog at the time of SSB testing and the candidates should be able to provide provisional / original degree certificate.

The following are conditions for women that will entail rejection for all Air Force Duties:

Severe dysmenorrhea
Complete prolapse of uterus
Acute or chronic pelvic infection
Severe menorrhagia
Pregnancy/ Amenorrhea
Any other gynaecological condition, if so considered by the specialist.

UES syllabus:

Paper I – Paper first consist maximum of 300 marks. The paper consists topics related to Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Statistics.

Paper II – General Ability
Part A – English (Maximum Marks 200)
Part B – General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400).
