Re: Gre toefl
TOEFL Scores are required of all applicants whose first language is not English. You need to take the TOEFL exam for admission in Stanford University to prove that you have the required English level to study in an English speaking environment. You will not be able to get a visa if your TOEFL score is less than 550 (at least this is the case for Canada). If you score more than 600 then you are more or less safe. TOEFL scores are valid only for two years All applicants to departmental graduate programs at Stanford must take the GRE. Some departments require additional subject tests, and a few non-M.D. programs in the School of Medicine allow applicants to submit MCAT scores in lieu of GRE scores. GRE are on the other hand valid for 5 years. GRE has a general test divided into 3 parts (verbal, quantitative and analytical) and several subject tests.
