Re: IAF Badges
In the IAF the badge consists of a full wing with the monogram ‘IAF’ in the centre, wreath, and surmounted by the State Emblem, all embroidered in cotton thread and mounted on dark blue extending 3.2 mm beyond the edges of the embroidery. Becoming a pilot in Indian air force is a dream of many and to achieve this one must work hard, if you are one of them, then you will find this post interesting. There are 4 different types of IAF pilot’s badge: Description of Indian Air Force Pilot’s Badge (Wings) Wings and lettering – White Laurel wreath – Brown Shading, eyes of lions and the wheel – Black at he base of the state emblem Tongue of the lions -Scarlet Remainder of State Emblem –White IAF uniform book . Here I’m attaching PDF of IAF uniform book: IAF officers: Marshal of the Air Force Air Chief Marshal Air Marshal Air Vice Marshal Air Commodore Group Captain Wing Commander Squadron Leader Flight Lieutenant Flying Officer Pilot Officer . Junior Commissioned Officers Master Warrant Officer Warrant Officer Junior Warrant Officer |
