• Civil engineering

In the Civil engineering come several departments such as Indian Railway, Central Engineering, Indian Ordnance Factorie, Central Water Engineering.

• Mechanical engineering
In the Mechanical engineering comes several departments such as Mechanical engineering in Indian Railway, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Supply Service, Central Power Engineering Service

• Electrical engineering
In the Electrical engineering comes several departments such as electrical engineering in Indian Railway and all above braches which are in Mechanical Engineering.

• Electronics & Telecommunication engineering
In the Electronics & Telecommunication engineering come several departments such as Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers, Indian Naval Armament Service, Wireless Planning and Co-ordination Wing, Indian Telecommunication Service.
